In a groundbreaking development to the delight of entrepreneurs in the country, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan on Wednesday announced to host the Investor Connect Event 2025 (ICE25) on February 4, 2025.
The announcement was made by the HEC Chairman Mukhtar Ahmed on Wednesday, stating that the "Investor Connect Event" will bring the budding entrepreneurs of the country under one roof and connect them to numerous influential groups of participants, including global venture capitalists, industry professionals and government representatives.
Setting the stage for enhanced investor confidence in Pakistan-based startups, the ICE25 event will connect startup enthusiasts, armed with out-of-the-box business ideas, with renowned investors globally, paving the foundations of a thriving business landscape across the country while driving economic growth.
Out of around 50 startups from diverse areas including e-commerce, EdTech, transportation & logistics, healthcare tech and sustainability, renowned startups slated to make the show of their product and services at ICE25 include Funkshan, a mobile-first SaaS platform facilitating in smart event planning for Gen Z; NewVative, offering live monitoring of safe transport of sensitive products in healthcare and beyond; and OX-Bridge, a collaborative platform for like-minded individuals prone to get hands-on learning of 21st-century skills.
For the country's hidden, underserved entrepreneurial talent, the event will also serve as a platform allowing them to lift the veil off their startups and get established to expand further into thriving economies around the world.
By bringing remarkable byproducts of innovation and social contributions into the limelight, the event will uplift Pakistan's position as an economic hub teeming with plentiful ventures, attracting investors and businesses.
