Nintendo has announced that "Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program" will include another playtest. Applications for the test are being accepted by the company.
It will take place from Monday, July 28, at 9pm ET to Sunday, August 10, at 8:59pm ET.
Nintendo says that the "same service" will be tested in this second round. A leak revealed that an MMO-style game was the subject of the previous playtest.
In certain countries, such as Japan, the US, and the UK, users who are 18 years of age or older and have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack are eligible to apply for the playtest.
As per Nintendo's guidelines, users may apply individually or in groups of up to four people, as long as "everyone in the group meets the application qualifications."
In comparison to the 10,000 participants in the October test, Nintendo anticipates accepting up to 40,000 participants globally.
Moreover, participants from the previous playtest are also eligible to apply for this one; applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Users can start preparing their applications on Nintendo's website at 6pm ET on Friday, July 18, but the application window will be open from Monday, July 21, at 11am ET to Wednesday, July 23, at 10:59am ET.
