In an effort to strengthen bilateral ties, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Oman’s Royal Minister, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, during his visit to Muscat on Thursday.

During the meeting, both ministers reviewed the current state of Pakistan-Oman relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in key sectors, resolve visa-related issues faced by Pakistani expatriates, and boost bilateral collaboration.

Naqvi highlighted the longstanding religious, cultural, and historical connections between the two countries and acknowledged the contributions of thousands of Pakistanis working toward Oman’s development.

To facilitate employment opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers in the Sultanate, he urged Omani authorities to expedite the visa application process.

Nu’amani emphasised the importance of collaboration in promoting peace, stability, and regional development while reaffirming Oman’s commitment to deepening ties with Pakistan.
