Xpeng P7+: AI-defined smart electric fastback sedan debuts in China

Xpeng, China's leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has unveiled the P7+, its latest AI-driven sedan. This innovative model showcases Xpeng's commitment to smart and sustainable mobility.

As the world’s first-ever AI-defined vehicle, the Xpeng P7+ utilises advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology to adapt to individual driving styles, optimising safety and comfort.

Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng outlined the company’s goal to pursue AI-driven mobility, providing drivers with personalised assistance through an intelligent “mobile butler” system.

The smart system available in P7+ can recognise road signs and traffic signals. It also offers self-driving capabilities, GPT-4o voice communication, and cloud-based processing.

However, Xpeng’s AI Hawkeye Visual Solution includes two 8M cameras, millimetre-wave radars, and ultrasonic radars.

The Xpeng P7+ features a single rear electric motor and an 800V platform. The P7+ can charge from 0% to 80% in just 20 minutes due to its fast charging charging capability.

It comes in two battery options:

  • 60.7 kWh battery with a 602 km range
  • 76.3 kWh battery with up to 710 km.

The Xpeng P7+ is available in three versions:

Long Range Max, Ultra Long Range Max, and Limited Edition Max

The Xpeng P7+ is priced between CNY 186,800 and CNY 218,800.
