AMD has officially confirmed the release date of its latest gaming-focused chipsets, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D, both are slated to be available for purchase from March 12. 

These latest CPUs build upon the widely praised Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is considered to be the best chipset for all gaming enthusiasts to accelerate their progress while gaming. It supports 16 Zen 5 cores and is integrated with second-generation 3D V-Cache technology, aiming to improve gaming performance while perfectly tailored to cater to your unique requirements. 

The higher-end Ryzen 9 9950X3D comes with 16 cores and 32 threads, supporting a base clock speed of 4.3 GHz and a boost speed of up to 5.7 GHz. It consists of 144MB of cache and has a TDP of 170W, offering an improved overall performance. 

Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D pricing 

This model is priced at $699, aiming to compete with Intel's Core Ultra 9 285K, a direct competitor in high-end computing. 

Users can get the Ryzen 9 9900X3D only at $599, without breaking the bank, making it a competitive alternative to Intel’s $589 Core Ultra 9 285K. With these price points, AMD is offering a blend of high-speed performance and multi-threaded efficiency.
