Apple's highly anticipated annual event, themed "Awe Dropping," is scheduled to take place on September 9, 2025, at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park, Cupertino, California. This year's event promises to unveil several new Apple products and upgrates to the existing ones.

iPhone 17 series with new ‘Air’ model
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone 17 series at the event, consisting of four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to be the thinnest iPhone to date at 5.5 mm. Its design is said to include a single 48MP rear camera and a smaller battery, though it may finally introduce a higher-density silicon anode battery and a ProMotion 120Hz display.
The iPhone 17 Air is said to be equipped with the A19 processor, a 6.6-inch ProMotion screen, USB-C, and eSIM-only support due to its slim frame.
On the other hand, the Pro models will undergo their first redesign since 2020. Gurman claimed that Apple is returning to aluminium frames, which are lighter and dissipate heat more efficiently than the titanium used in previous Pro models.
Major upgrades for iPhone 17 Pro models include:
- A19 Pro processor
- Extended battery life
- 48MP telephoto lens (up from 12MP)
- Variable aperture system
- Simultaneous front-and-back video recording
- Major selfie camera improvements
Apple Watch lineup
Apple is poised to unveil its latest smartwatch lineup, featuring the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch SE, in a bid to expand its wearable technology offerings.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to support satellite messaging and 5G connectivity, alongside a brighter, more efficient display.
The Apple Watch Series 11 could introduce high blood pressure detection, while the Apple Watch SE 3 is anticipated to match the performance of flagship models. All three watches may debut Apple’s in-house Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip.
AirPods 3 Pro
In addition, Apple is highly anticipated to unveil the AirPods 3 Pro, building on the last update in 2023. The new earbuds are expected to include an H3 chip, heart rate and temperature sensors, and a live translation feature.
Gurman highlighted live conversation translation as the major software upgrade, expanding on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 translation tools powered by Apple Intelligence.
