Level Lock Pro Smart Deadbolt
The Level Lock Pro takes a minimalist approach to smart security. Instead of placing a large motor housing on the inside of the door, its smart components are concealed within the door cutout.
Its connectivity options are particularly appealing to smart-home users. Matter-over-Thread, Bluetooth and NFC allow the lock to work across major platforms, while Apple Home Key provides a particularly convenient way to unlock the door with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch.
Physical security is another major strength. With an ANSI Grade 1 certification and BHMA AAA rating, the Level Lock Pro offers a stronger structural-security profile than many entry-level smart locks.
The main compromise is the installation experience. Although it is designed for standard door preparations, adjusting the bolt extension can make installation more complicated on some doors.
Ulecoce U68 Smart Door Lock
The Ulecoce U68 takes a more conventional approach to smart entry by replacing both the deadbolt and door handle with a complete electronic hardware set.
Its biggest advantage is access flexibility. The U68 supports up to 50 fingerprints and 100 unique passcodes, giving households, rental properties and hospitality users plenty of room for multiple users.
Biometric access is another highlight. The fingerprint reader is rated to recognise registered fingerprints in about 0.3 seconds, while the illuminated keypad provides a convenient alternative when fingerprint access is not practical.
