Motorola, a subsidiary of Lenovo Group Ltd, seems to be striding to secure the limelight spot of the folding phone landscape with a glorious addition to its Razr lineup codenamed Motorala Glory.

MSPoweruser has released design renders of a foldable Razer smartphone that closely resembles the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, featuring a flip-phone orientation.

Motorola Glory specifications and design

While the exterior design may not undergo significant changes, it is speculated that the internal components will be upgraded to enhance its competitiveness in the foldable phone market.

Although the chipset is yet to be confirmed, there are indications that it could potentially utilise the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for improved performance and battery efficiency.

The leaked information suggests that the new Razr phone will maintain a similar two-tone grey and black design and incorporate a dual-camera system like its predecessor.

Motorola Glory release date

It is anticipated to be available through Verizon Wireless, with a potential launch around mid-2024, although pricing and official release date details have not been disclosed.

With competition from Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Google Pixel Fold, and OnePlus Open, Motorola faces the challenge of distinguishing its foldable phones in a rapidly expanding market.
