Palm, an American software company introduced the concept of combining magnets along with wireless charging back in the day, which was followed by Apple in the iOS, which supports enhanced charging and plenty of accessories. Now, OnePlus is also tipped to incorporate magnetic action in the cases of upcoming phones.

According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, Ouga group, a holding company of OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme, is gearing up to build phone accessories along with magnets.

However, it is less likely to develop a “true magnetic wireless charging,” because of the Cupertino-based tech giant’s MagSafe restrictions, the tipster added.
