Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, a cutting-edge laptop boasting enhanced features, including artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The device is part of the Galaxy Book 5 series and is equipped with the latest Intel processor, codenamed Lunar Lake.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro specs
The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro sports a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. The device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2, paired with a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) that supports up to 47 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
This enables on-device AI capabilities, making Galaxy Book 5 Pro a Microsoft Copilot+ PC.
The laptop also comes with Samsung's Galaxy AI suite, which offers various AI-powered features, including AI Select, a visual lookup feature that allows users to highlight and search for specific parts of the screen.
Additionally, the device features Optical Character Recognition (OCR), allowing users to select text from images and scan QR codes.
Moreover, other notable features of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro include a webcam with HDR technology, a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, and a long-lasting battery that can run up to 25 hours on a single charge.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro availability
The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro will initially be available for purchase in South Korea starting January 2. The laptop comes in two colours: Grey and Silver.
