Samsung is now making an official effort towards its next smart ring, called the Galaxy Ring 2, but you better wait a while before you see anything.
According to GalaxyClub, Samsung has only begun the initial concept phases of the Galaxy Ring 2, which means the consumers waiting on the next generation of Samsung's smart ring will have to hold on a little longer.

The Galaxy Ring was released earlier this year as a fitness and lifestyle wearable that tracks health, sleep, and activity through a small ring worn on the finger instead of a smartwatch, as an exported lightweight alternative, which a lot of users even more prefer.
However, the latest leaks and a report from Korean publication Money Today are suggesting the Galaxy Ring 2 could have a new type of battery technology which conveys improved power efficiency.
It also made it apparently clear: this next version will not arrive any time soon.
While the initial speculation at the time appeared to indicate a late Q4 2025 release, rumours suggest that the Galaxy Ring 2 would be arriving at least after the Galaxy S26 series launch, which is expected at the start of 2026.
