Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) and Hubco Green (Private) Limited have signed an agreement to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across Pakistan.
The agreement was announced on April 24, 2025, in a PSX filing.
APL and Hubco partnership
This collaboration will look to increase EV infrastructure in Pakistan by installing quick and efficient EV charging stations at strategic points. With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles in Pakistan, there is a demand for convenient charging points, which APL and Hubco intend to fulfil.
Hubco Green is a subsidiary of Hub Power Holding Limited (HPL), owned entirely by Hubco. With this new partnership, APL will utilise its extensive fuel station network, and Hubco will bring its power sector expertise.
Together, they will establish, operate, and market EV charging stations in high-traffic locations to make them convenient for EV drivers to utilise.
This collaboration will aid Pakistan's drive towards clean energy, reduced carbon emissions, and assisting in reaching climate targets. The companies stated that they are determined to build a cleaner and more sustainable energy future for the nation.
