Apple to release its most recent iPhone 17 series in September, most likely from September 8 to September 12.
According to Bloomberg, the keynote might take place on September 9 or 10.
"Apple never holds events on Fridays, so you can rule out September 12, and it has avoided launching new products on September 11," Gurman said.
It is anticipated that the iPhone 17 series will include four models:
- iPhone 17
- iPhone 17 Air
- iPhone 17 Pro
- iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Air will have a 6.5-inch screen, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen, and the standard and Pro models will have a 6.3-inch screen.
At first, Apple analyst Jeff Pu anticipated that the A18 chip used in the iPhone 16 would be used in the base model iPhone 17.
Pu, however, contradicts himself in a recent report, claiming that the base model does now appear to be getting the A19 processor.
"We now expect the iPhone 17 model to be equipped with A19 (vs. earlier expectation of A18)," stated Pu. "12GB DRAM LPDDR5X for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, 12GB LPDDR5 for the iPhone 17 Air, and 8GB LPDDR5 for the iPhone 17."
The A19 chip will be included in the base model iPhone 17, but its RAM will differ significantly from that of the other models.
While the base model iPhone 17 will continue to have 8GB of RAM, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are anticipated to benefit from the upgrade to 12GB.
One thing is certain as the tech community eagerly awaits the release of the iPhone 17 series: Apple's most recent products will undoubtedly make a big contribution to the smartphone market.
