In a new report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple intends to shake things up with the iPad Air, reportedly planning two different sizes — a 10.9-inch and a larger 12.9-inch model. This strategic move aims to cater to varying customer preferences and budgets, bridging the gap between different-sized iPads.
As for the iPad Pro series, Apple is poised to adopt OLED displays for the first time, promising deeper blacks, enhanced brightness, and a wider colour spectrum — an exciting development for multimedia enthusiasts.
Additionally, Gurman suggests that the upcoming iPad Pro tablets will be powered by the latest Apple M3 chips, offering substantial performance boosts owing to their advanced 3nm build.
MacBook rumours
While no major design changes are anticipated for the MacBook Air in 2024, the refreshed model is expected to house the new Apple M3 SoC, delivering enhanced efficiency and performance.
The report remains unclear about updates for the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops, which recently underwent a refresh. The fate of other Mac models like the Mac Mini, Mac Studio, or Mac Pro is also uncertain for this event.
