The much-awaited Apple Watch 10 is likely to add a feature which will allow users to monitor blood pressure along with heart rate, sleep pattern, blood oxygen, movements, temperature, and etc.

Bloomberg's reporter Mark Gurman, in a newsletter, said: "All signs point to the new Apple Watch gaining a blood-pressure checker this fall. But it doesn't appear that the capability will be coming to current models."

Gurman's statement hints that the blood pressure monitoring is likely to be a hardware feature and users of older versions of Apple Watch will not be able to access this new feature through software update.

The users can reduce their reliance on conventional blood pressure readings through the help of this feature in Apple Watch.

However, it should be noted that Apple is not the first tech company to add this feature in their Watch Series, whereas Samsung currently supports ECG (Electro Cardiography) and blood pressure monitoring features for the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 6 series.
