
Apple and Nvidia are allegedly to invest in OpenAI partially as the latest fundraising round that would boost the OpenAI by more than $100 billion to outperform the competition and get lucrative profit.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) highlighted the Cupertino-based tech giant’s interest in it, whereas, Bloomberg revealed the chip giant Nvidia’s engagement.
The news came into development after a few reports arrived from the WSJ regarding the venture capital firm Thrive Capital which is likely planning to fund over $1 billion in Open AI.

OpenAi is seamlessly heading towards the top and has even become a significant platform in Apple’s artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, along with the roll-out of ChatGPT to iPhones in June, primarily as "Apple Intelligence."
Further reports suggested Apple is expected to be an Observer on OpenAI's board.
WSJ added that Microsoft, the institutional investor of OpenAI, is also under the spotlight. Microsoft has already funded around $10 billion and is now reported to invest in the funding round again.
However, the actual funding amounts from the tech giants Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia are still under wraps.
Additionally, Open AI allegedly closed a deal worth around $80 billion in February, in which the company would market the current shares in a tender ruled by Thrive Capital.
