Apple’s Vision Pro headset was supposed to give a big change in the tech world but unfortunately, it failed! However, it is heard that Apple is about to launch the sequel of the mixed reality Vision Pro headset, The Vision Pro 2 which might be cheaper than it.

Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset was launched earlier this year with the price starting from $3,500. So, the reason behind not getting the expected response may be its high price. However, there could be another issue as well that its features are still under the testing process and may not be worth this high price.

Additionally, Apple is working on the release of a new headset, the Vision Pro 2, which might be available in 2026 and it will be cheaper than the Vision Pro headset, i.e., from $1,500 to $2,500. This is due to the notable lack of interest in people buying this headset.

According to some reports, Samsung, Qualcomm and Google are also working on mixed-reality headsets and will reveal this at the end of 2024. It is also reported that they may be available at a lower price as compared to Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset.

Some rumours suggest that the Korean tech giant will supply LLW DRAM to the 2nd generation Vision Pro and the display will also be supplied by it. However, the current model has Sony micro-OLED panels. So, according to the leaks, it may be assumed that Apple’s Vision Pro 2 will hit the market in less price than the Vision Pro.
