Apple's ‘It's Glowtime’ event: New AirPods Max 2 expected to be announced

Apple's ‘It's Glowtime’ event is just a few hours away, and several new rumours are surfacing regarding the new AirPods Max models that are expected to be announced during the Apple event.

These upgraded Airpods would be equipped with better noise cancellation, adaptive audio, and a switch to USB-C. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Cupertino-based tech giant previously indicated that no new AirPods Max models would be launched at the iPhone keynote. However, it seems that there are slight changes in plans.

What to expect from AirPods Max 2

The new AirPods Max 2 would be expected to launch alongside the AirPods 4 models at today’s ‘It’s Glowtime’ event. Unfortunately, updates to AirPods Pro are not expected at this time. While we don't know if the design or colour of the gadget would be getting any alteration, we can expect significant upgrades.

Additionally, the original AirPods Max was launched way back in December 2020. Priced starting at $549, these headphones have garnered heavy criticism for lacking features and being overpriced.

The exact prices aren’t confirmed yet for the new AirPods Max 2, but it can be expected that Apple could reconsider that starting price of $549 in light of these upgrades and new features. These Airpods must be far more competitive than the others on the market.
