Released on October 23, 2024, the 7th-generation iPad Mini sticks to Apple’s sleek design language, featuring squared-off edges and a compact, portable build.

Measuring just 195.4 x 134.8 x 6.3 mm, it’s an 8.3-inch tablet with a sharp 2,266 x 1,488 resolution display, supporting the full DCI-P3 colour gamut for vibrant visuals.

Under the hood, the new Mini boasts the powerful A17 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM, a substantial performance upgrade from its predecessor. It also introduces compatibility with the Apple Pencil Pro and USB-C Apple Pencil, expanding creative options.

While it keeps the same 5,078mAh battery as the 6th-generation model, users can expect a similar battery life of around seven hours of screen-on time.

10th generation iPad on discount

For those considering a larger tablet, the 10th-generation iPad is currently discounted by $50 to $299. This model comes with the A14 Bionic chip and 4GB of RAM, along with a 10.9-inch display at 2,360 x 1,640 resolution—ideal for streaming content.

Though the iPad Mini discount is modest, it’s a rare opportunity to save on Apple’s latest release so soon after launch.
