Onyx has just launched the Boox Go 6 into the market, an Android-driven e-reader budget model that goes for a price of $150. This device is fitted with a 6-inch enhanced Carta 1300 screen, with deeper blacks and whiter whites, thus making it an appealing alternative to consider against Amazon's Kindle lineup.

Moreover, it features a high-resolution display with 1,448 x 1,072 pixels, sporting 300ppi, which supports monochrome colours.

Along with this text-to-speech is also featured on the device, coupled with support for up to 20 document formats, and native light and dark mode to read comfortably. It comes with 32GB of onboard storage, coupled with 2GB of RAM and an octa-core SoC.

The Boox Go 6 runs a highly adapted Android 12, with the possibility to customise the Play Store. This means it is capable of much more than reading on this device, and at just 160g, it's light enough to be used on the go.

The Boox Go 6 is a great alternative to the Paperwhite Kindle, having way more usability and features at a very affordable price. This is a great option because of its excellent display, long battery life, and Android capabilities.
