In the wake of overburdening taxes and similar outcomes linked to the comeback of the Trump administration, it's hard to expect the US to join the fierce battle of making electric vehicles.

On the contrary, Faraday Future, a US-based automobile manufacturer, claims to be lifting the veil of two prototypes of its FX brand namely the FX 5 and FX 6.

According to Digital Trends, the disclosure will be made at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 scheduled to kick off on January 7 and will run its course till January 10 in Las Vegas.

This revelation coincides with world-class Chinese EV makers, manufacturing the cheapest EV globally, announcing plans to enter the US market even after the enforcement of 100% tariffs on China-made EVs in September 2024.

It should be noted that if the China-based EV-maker giant BYD is selling its cheapest EVs in the US, they're highly expected to be the most affordable on the market, coming under $25,000 even after incurring hefty tariffs.
