TRON Blockchain Founder and cryptocurrency billionaire Justin Sun attracted public attention during his recent visit to Pakistan after sharing a video of himself riding and inspecting a local rickshaw in Islamabad.

Sun, who visited the country at the invitation of the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC), shared a short clip on social media over the weekend that underlined rickshaws' cultural significance in Pakistan.

"In Pakistan, a rickshaw is not just a ride; for many drivers it supports the whole family," he wrote, describing it as an important element of daily life.

Sun is seen in the video riding inside the three-wheeled vehicle and mingling with the locals. He gave credit for the experience to Pakistani social media personality Momin Saqib. “Time was short, so I only mastered one thing: the brakes,” further said Sun playfully.

Referring to rickshaws as “the city’s capillaries,” Sun said they play an essential role in keeping urban life moving and showed deference for drivers making a living through the work.

Terming his visit to Pakistan “a complete success,” Sun also posted a vlog of his trip, right from his arrival at Islamabad International Airport to his meeting with senior officials in the government and at the Ministry of Finance.

The visit comes as Pakistan has sought greater exposure to blockchain and digital asset technologies through the Pakistan Crypto Council.
