The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Friday urged Pakistanis to renew their expired Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) in time or convert their B-form into and identity card.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the authority stated: "All respected citizens are politely requested to renew their expired identity cards in time or convert their B form into an identity card. For children whose B form has not been made yet, please also get their B form made as soon as possible."

"These instructions are issued in line with the Ordinance 2000 section 30-1(e)," said Nadra, adding that citizens need to complete all these steps before June 30, 2026.

Last month, Nadra expanded its services to an additional 1,000 e-Sahulat franchises across Pakistan. As per Nadra spokesperson, Pakistanis can avail these services at around 3,000 e-Sahulat centres. These facilities include:

  • Issuance of B-Forms for children up to the age of 10
  • Renewal of CNICs
  • Obtaining duplicate cards in case of loss, and cancellation of identity cards of deceased family members.

With this expansion, Nadra aims to create better services for citizens across Pakistan.
