The game, known for its fast-paced fighting genre, allows players to control legendary characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan in intense team battles.

As the most-awaited sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (2007), the game launched in October 2024 with massive success, selling over five million copies within four months.

The latest update aims to enhance gameplay by fixing bugs and improving balance. On Tuesday, developer Spike Chunsoft released update version 2009.008.003.006.005 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Furthermore, the update adjusts the Extreme Warrior Time Mode by addressing a large, which permitted the unfair lowering of Super Broly's stats by players.

Additionally, there is also the fact that Piccolo and Orange Piccolo will now only regain spirit and stamina upon the first time they transform, bringing a new level of strategy to players. The patch also has overall usability enhancements and performance features to provide more seamless gameplay.

This announcement comes at a very timely moment when the fans are eagerly waiting for new content for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

The first DLC of the game came out in January 2025, and another grand expansion will be released by the end of March. The next two DLC packs will include characters from Dragon Ball Daima, the anime series for the year 2024.
