Samsung is preparing to release a new pair of Galaxy Buds, with the purported Galaxy Buds 3 swapping the design to appear more like AirPods.

The company is set to add a “stem” to the earbud. This design was initially made famous by Apple’s AirPods. However, it’s pretty normal throughout the industry, with others like Nothing Ear using it.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), @TEQHNIKACROSS uploaded two images clicked from Coupang, a Korean retail website, which displayed the case for the Galaxy Buds 3. The case ditches the square-ish design of the earlier few generations for a rectangle that has a transparent lid to display the two earbuds in place.

Whereas, it’s a very different design from what the company was utilising earlier. Samsung is expected to release its new Galaxy Buds 3 along with new foldables and smartwatches at an event on July 10.

The shape of the case and the size of the lid are nearly the same, just with a different colour and the aforementioned transparent lid. Apple’s AirPods cases have been unveiled for their solid designs. However, it’s interesting to see Samsung going for such a close-copy release with its unique designs.
