After announcing the Home Panel to the Google TV Streamer and Chromecast eralier this month. The latest smart Home Panel feature has been introduced to the Google TV sets from Hisense, TCL, and other renowned brands, according to 9to5Google.
It’s one of the best features that will let users to easily manipulate their smart home devices including fans, lights, thermostats, and more.
The Home Panel on Google TV also provides live views for the Nest camera and notifications for the Nest Doorbells which is quite amazing. However, it’s less efficient in contrast to the Google Home app, but it’s convenient.

Home Panel feature is now live on Hisense TVs with Google TV, and even several reports suggested that the feature has been spotted on Xiaomi set-top boxes and more too.
Moreover, the functionality of this feature in smart home devices is similar to others except the capability to map the option to a dedicated button available in Google TV Streamer is missing.
