
Huawei is set to release a new upgrade for the FreeBuds 6i which is claimed to optimise the call effect feature.
Moreover, the company has featured new advancements along with bug fixes for the earbuds in the latest firmware. The company said that users will get a more enhanced experience.
According to the changelog, Huawei is set to launch the call effect optimisation update for the FreeBuds 6i with HarmonyOS 4.2.0.198 version.
However, the update doesn’t carry any significant changes for the new earbuds. It enhances the call effect feature of the device which results in users noticing a more clear and immersive sound while having an audio conversation with friends and family.

Moreover, users may receive a flawless connection while talking on phone calls without interruptions. Huawei is set to launch the latest update in China under a phased rollout, while it may take some time to be delivered to all the device owners.
The company is currently busy with the HarmonyOS NEXT preparations. It is said to launch the HarmonyOS native public beta program on October 8. It's expected that by the end of this year, FreeBuds 6i may also fetch the new beta upgrade.
