Huawei Smart TV S6 Pro to launch later this month: Report

Huawei is expected to launch a new Smart TV S6 Pro device later this month. The tech giant has recently hinted at the large screen model, sporting numerous artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities and will likely go on sale by early April.

On Weibo, a tipster recently asked the company about the release time of the Smart TV S6 Pro. In response, a Huawei Mall Customer Service moderator detailed the topic.

The moderator stated that Huawei will open the all-new Smart TV S6 Pro device for pre-sale in mid-March. It will officially go live on sale on April 3.

Apart from the sale timeline, the moderator indicated that the company will hold a new product launch conference in mid-to-late March. Users may witness the new Pocket 3 folding phone at the same time alongside new wrist and audio wearables.

Huawei Mall Customer Service message reads: “Thank you very much for your attention to Huawei’s new Smart Screen S6 Pro. Huawei’s new Smart Screen S6 Pro will start pre-sale in mid-March 2025 and will be officially sold on April 3, 2025. For more product information, please pay attention to the press conference in March 2025. Stay Tuned.”

According to previous leaks, the company has two Smart TVs in the pipeline. One of these will equip the Honghu 900 chip with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It may also bring an AI-seeing camera and various interactive features like gesture controls.

This device could be the Smart TV S6 Pro and may be priced around 16,999 yuan. It would be worth seeing what other changes it will bring to the launch stage.

The second one could be the Huawei Smart TV 5 series with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It could feature 65-inch to 98-inch models. Other parameters are unclear, though we may find them later this month.
