In a bid to establish a more accessible and inclusive space for the deaf community in Pakistan, Jazz, the country’s leading digital operator, has partnered with DeafTawk, a global leader in accessible communication solutions.

Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), this collaboration aims to develop groundbreaking solutions that enable individuals with hearing loss to embrace enhanced listening experience.

The partnership underscores Jazz's commitment to driving social inclusion through cutting-edge solutions and impactful initiatives.

Speaking about this collaboration, Jazz Consumer Division President Kazim Mujtaba stated: “At Jazz, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. Our partnership with DeafTawk underscores our commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital age.”

However, DeafTawk CEO and founder Ali Shabbar noted: “This collaboration with Jazz is a monumental step forward in fostering inclusivity within Pakistan’s telecom sector.”

“Jazz’s commitment to bridging communication gaps is truly commendable, and we’re thrilled to work together to ensure that deaf individuals have equal access to essential services,” Shabbar concluded.

In light of this collaboration, the DeafTawk Plus app will be integrated into Jazz’s customer care centres across the country, enabling deaf individuals to access real-time sign language interpretation services.

Upon visiting any Jazz facility, deaf individuals will be connected to a qualified interpreter through a tablet or device.

This facilitates seamless communication between deaf customers and Jazz's customer support team, eliminating the need for intermediaries.
