Elon Musk announced on Wednesday that SpaceX, his aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company, has moved its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas.
Musk made the announcement from his official account on his own social media platform X. formerly known as Twitter, writing in a post, "SpaceX has moved its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas! If your company is still incorporated in Delaware, I recommend moving to another state as soon as possible."
The relocation of SpaceX's business incorporation to Texas follows another announcement Musk made earlier this month to get a shareholder vote to move Tesla's legal home to Texas, where it has its headquarters, after a Delaware judge struck his $56-billion deal.

Musk's compensation deal at Tesla was the largest ever awarded to an executive and served vitally to maintain his status as one of the richest people in the world.
"The public vote is unequivocally in favour of Texas! Tesla will move immediately to hold a shareholder vote to transfer state of incorporation to Texas," Musk had posted earlier this month on X after holding a poll where in which 87% respondents voted "yes" for Tesla's change of incorporation.
Similarly, the Tesla CEO also moved the state of business incorporation of Neuralink, his brain-chip implant company, from Delaware to Nevada last week.
To mark the successful relocation, Musk posted on X the SpaceX logo emblazoned on the silhouette of Texas.
