The LIFTSUN Level 2 Fast EV Charger is a powerful charging solution for EV owners who want high charging speeds, adjustable power settings, and the flexibility of both wall-mounted and portable use.

The charger is designed for home charging and delivers up to 50 amps of power and a maximum output of 12kW, making it one of the more powerful portable EV chargers available. Equipped with a NEMA 14-50 plug and a 25-foot charging cable, it provides convenient charging for a wide range of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

Pros

  1. Powerful 50A charging output
  2. Up to 12kW charging performance
  3. Adjustable current settings
  4. Scheduled charging capability
  5. Large LED display
  6. 25-foot charging cable

Cons

  1. Tesla vehicles require a separate adapter
  2. No smartphone app connectivity
  3. Charging settings must be configured before charging begins

One of the biggest advantages of the LIFTSUN Level 2 EV Charger is its charging speed. Delivering up to 50 amps of power at 240V, it can charge compatible electric vehicles significantly faster than a standard Level 1 charger.

The charger also offers adjustable current settings, allowing users to select between 16A, 24A, 32A, 40A, and 50A charging modes. This flexibility makes it easier to match charging power with different electrical setups while helping manage energy consumption.

Another useful feature is the built-in charging schedule function. Users can set charging sessions to begin 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours later, making it easier to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates and reduce charging costs.

The integrated LED display provides real-time charging information, including charging current, voltage, temperature, and charging duration. This allows users to monitor charging progress and quickly identify any issues that may arise.

Safety is a key focus of the charger's design. The system continuously monitors operating temperature and automatically reduces charging power or temporarily stops charging if temperatures exceed safe limits.

The included 25-foot charging cable adds significant convenience. The extended cable length provides flexibility when parking and allows users to reach charging ports without needing to position their vehicle precisely.

Portability is another strong point. While the charger can be mounted on a garage wall using the included holder, it can also be easily removed and transported when needed.

Compatibility is excellent thanks to the SAE J1772 connector. The charger works with most electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold in North America, including models from Ford, Nissan, Audi, Kia, Honda, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, and many others.
