
OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Watch 2 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 on February 26, presenting several enhancements over its 2021 predecessor. The smartwatch boasts an extended battery life of up to 100 hours in Smart Mode, extendable to 12 days in Power Saving Mode with fitness tracking capabilities.
The watch uses a dual-engine architecture, it operates on two operating systems and incorporates dual-frequency GPS connectivity. The device features a stainless steel body coupled with a sapphire crystal screen.

The OnePlus Watch 2 offers a 1.43-inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, featuring a 60Hz flash rate and a peak brightness level of 1,000. The device is powered by a Snapdragon W5 SoC and a BES2700 chipset, facilitating the operation of Wear OS apps and RTOS, respectively.

Users have the flexibility to switch between the two operating systems - Wear OS 4 and RTOS. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Constructed with a military-grade MIL-STD-810H build, the stainless steel chassis of the OnePlus Watch 2 is rated 5ATM and IP68 for water and dust resistance.
The device is powered by a 500mAh battery supporting 7.5W VOOC fast charging, capable of fully charging in 60 minutes. It promises up to 48 hours of battery life under heavy usage, up to 100 hours in Smart Mode, and up to 12 days in Power Saver mode.
Furthermore, the smartwatch features an optical heart rate monitor, and pulse oximeter sensor, and offers tracking for sleep cycles and stress levels. It supports over 11 professional and 100 sports modes. Connectivity options include L1+L5 GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. Weighing 49g, the watch measures 47mm x 46.6mm x 12.1mm.

According to Gadgets360, the OnePlus Watch 2 is available in Black Steel and Radiant Steel colour options, with prices starting at INR 24,999. It will be released in select countries and will be purchasable from March 4 onwards via various online and offline retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, OnePlus online store, Reliance Digital, and Croma.
