The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has introduced an online biometric verification service for automobiles registered in Islamabad through the Pak-ID smartphone app.

Residents can now complete the biometric verification process without visiting Nadra offices, thanks to this new feature.

The Pak-ID app, which already provides a range of services, offers this feature under its “ICT Vehicle” section.

Buyers and sellers can move to the next step of the transfer process at the relevant department after completing biometric verification.

The goal of this upgrade is to streamline the vehicle transfer procedure, eliminate the need for in-person visits, and increase citizen convenience.

According to Nadra, the new service is designed to make vehicle transfers quicker, simpler, and more secure.

It is anticipated that the online biometric verification service will speed up processing and improve transparency in vehicle transfers.

This initiative reflects NADRA's ongoing efforts to offer safe and efficient services to Pakistani citizens.

The new feature further expands the capabilities of the Pak-ID app, which already serves as a secure and reliable identity verification platform.
