The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday announced a decrease in LPG price by Rs5.88 per kilogramme for the month of November.

According to the notification, the LPG price for a domestic cylinder has been slashed by Rs69.44, which sets the new rate at Rs2,378.89 per cylinder.

It is worth noting that the adjustment comes as part of OGRA's monthly price review, showing changes in international market trends and domestic distribution costs. With the price reduction, the authority aims to ensure affordability and give relief to LPG consumers across Pakistan.

Last week, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) issued its latest schedule for the supply of gas in winters in Pakistan. Under the latest gas supply schedule for winters, SNGPL aims to manage rising demand amid the ongoing gas shortage in the country.

Latest gas supply schedule for winters

Here's the new SNGPL winter gas schedule:

  • Morning: 5:30am to 8:30am
  • Afternoon: 11:30am to 1:30pm
  • Evening: 5:30pm to 8:30pm

"The schedule is temporary and could be modified depending on weather conditions and gas availability," added SNGPL.

It should be noted that other than these designated hours, gas pressure will remain low, or supply may be temporarily suspended. This updated gas supply schedule will be applied to Lahore, Islamabad, and all other cities connected to the SNGPL network.
