OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in January 2023. But the OnePlus 12 may not be the only device to debut next month, as the company is also expected to unveil the OnePlus 12R, a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3 that will launch in China later this month. The OnePlus 12R will be a powerful device with some impressive specifications and features.

OnePlus 12R: Display and design
The OnePlus 12R will sport a 6.78-inch OLED screen with curved edges, a punch-hole cutout, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will have a 1.5K resolution and support PWM dimming. It will run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box. ColorOS 14 is the new custom skin from OnePlus, which is based on the Oppo’s ColorOS. The software will offer a smooth and intuitive user experience, with features like dark mode, always-on display, game mode, and more.
OnePlus 12R price and availability
The OnePlus 12R is expected to launch in January 2024, alongside the OnePlus 12. The device will be available in various colour options, such as black, white, blue, and green. The price of the OnePlus 12R is not yet confirmed, but it is likely to be lower than the OnePlus 12, which is expected to start at $999. The OnePlus 12R will compete with other flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S23, the iPhone 14, and the Google Pixel 7.
