OnePlus is preparing to launch its next-generation smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3, on February 18. This new model, which would be an upgraded version of its predecessor, is set to bring several improvements in battery life, design, and features.
One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus Watch 3 is its extended battery life. The dual-chip setup, featuring the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and a new BES2800 efficiency chip, will allow the watch to last up to five days with regular usage.
Additionally, a power-saving mode can stretch battery life to 16 days on a single charge. This makes it one of the longest-lasting smartwatches in its category.
OnePlus Watch 3 features
The OnePlus Watch 3 retains a circular display but introduces a rotating crown, allowing for easier navigation. The body is made of titanium, giving it a high-end look and feel. This new design not only enhances durability but also makes the watch more comfortable to wear.
Advanced health tracking and LTE connectivity
Health tracking has also improved, with the addition of an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor, providing more accurate heart health monitoring. The watch will also support LTE connectivity, enabling users to make calls and receive notifications even without their smartphone nearby.
Moreover, OnePlus Watch 3 is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, offering smooth performance. It will run on a combination of Watch OS 5 and real-time operating system (RTOS), offering a balance between power efficiency and responsiveness.
OnePlus launch and preorder offers
The OnePlus Watch 3 will be launched globally alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones. OnePlus is also offering a $30 discount for early registrants on its official website. Customers who register early also have a chance to win the OnePlus Pad 2 or OnePlus Buds Pro 3.
