Opera has officially introduced Neon, a new browser that uses artificial intelligence. While most browsers only facilitate searching, Opera Neon takes a larger leap; it can do tasks for you.
From booking hotels to designing websites and even generating simple games, Neon is designed to function as an assistant in your browser.

Neon is powered by AI agents that run in the cloud. So, they can keep working on tasks, even when your device is not online.
These agents aren't just an aesthetic touch; Opera explains they can discover topics, write reports, generate code and interact directly with web pages.
"One of the primary functions in Neon is the Browser Operator, an AI chatbot that knows the context of your browsing.
The browser operator can fill out forms, provide suggestions for what to do next, or answer your questions while browsing, all while chatting within the window of the browser.
Its launch puts Opera among the growing race of AI browsers, following the likes of Microsoft Edge with Copilot, Chrome with Gemini, Brave's Leo, as well as the new AI previews from Firefox.
