In another shocking development, Jony Ive, former design chief at Apple, has been in talks with Altman to develop a new AI hardware device, Reuters wrote while citing a report from September.
In the same report, it has also been claimed that Masayoshi Son, the CEO of SoftBank has been a part of this Altman-led AI startup plan.
As some top researchers at OpenAI quit the company as a result of the CEO change, it remained unclear if Szymon Sidor and others would join the new venture Altman is working on.
Sidor was one of the key researchers of the firm who parted ways and resigned from the company, indicating to join the Sam Altman.
