Oura has just introduced its latest smart ring — the all-titanium Oura Ring 4 — sporting enhanced accuracy and a revamped design companion app.
The Oura Ring 4 announced “Smart Sensing” technology, which the Finnish-based health company claimed improved data accuracy by confirming the particular contours of an individual’s finger.
This new algorithm purportedly enhances blood oxygen sensing accuracy by 30% over the Oura Ring 3 and reduces gaps in heart rate tracking. Moreover, the ring's sensors are now deferred, which is said to offer a more comfortable fit for all-day wear.
The new wearable houses a slimmer profile and extended size options to provide a wider range of users. There are now twelve sizes, ranging from 4 to 15.
The expanded size range arrives as Oura reports a shift in user demographics, with women in their 20s now representing its fastest-growing segment.

Along with the hardware update, Oura has also overhauled its companion app with a new three-tab interface — Vitals, and My Health. The redesign focuses on simplifying navigation and offers clearer insights into both daily and long-term health metrics.
Oura Ring 4 sports include automatic activity detection for over 40 activities, improved stress tracking, and a "Fertile Window" prediction tool for users trying to conceive.
Oura Ring 4 price and colour options
The price of Oura Ring 4 is set at $349, along it is said to be offered in six colourways — Gold, Rose Gold, Brushed Silver, Stealth, Black, and Silver.
The company confirmed that the Oura Ring 4’s shipping is to be started from October 15, but it is important to note that Oura Ring 4 continues to be available through the company's controversial subscription model, with membership priced at $5.99 per month or $69.99 annually after the included one-month trial.
