Pakistan’s fintech sector took the spotlight at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025 on Wednesday, as the event represented one of the world’s largest gatherings of financial technology leaders, investors, and policymakers.
The festival, running from November 12 to 14, 2025, features over 600 exhibitors and 41 international pavilions, providing a platform to explore innovations in digital finance and emerging technologies.
The Pakistan pavilion was inaugurated by the Deputy High Commissioner and Charge d'Affaires Salman Mehmood.
The pavilion reflects Pakistan's increasing importance in the global financial technology spectrum and opens doors for Pakistani fintech companies to connect with international investors, partners, and innovators.
Mehmood, while addressing the ceremony, appreciated the active participation of Pakistani fintech firms and urged them to utilise this global platform for forming partnerships, raising investment, and demonstrating Pakistan's fast-advancing technological capabilities.
Six leading Pakistani fintech companies are participating in this festival on behalf of the country to establish a commitment towards strengthening Pakistan's standing in the global digital economy.
Their involvement has shown the potential the country holds regarding digital payment methods, blockchain solutions, and financial inclusion.
The Singapore FinTech Festival is an event that catalyses global partnerships for participating delegates to discuss the future of finance at the crossroads of innovation, regulation, and technology.
