The only thing Pixel Watch users are found hating is the display size, for Google offers a relatively small watch face with the wearable.

However, it seems that the search engine giant is going to do calm the frayed nerves of Pixel watch lovers this year with the release of Pixel Watch 3.

The slightly ramped up size might also provide a bigger room to accommodate some more features compared to those currently offered inside Pixel Watches.

The potential for a larger battery and additional sensors is increased due to the extra space under the hood, although no specific enhancements to the device were disclosed.

Pixel Watch 3 comparison with Pixel Watch 2

In October, Google introduced the Pixel Watch 2, which received a 4/5 rating from PCMag for its extended battery life and enhanced health-tracking capabilities compared to its predecessor.

The Pixel Watch 2 is available in a single 41mm size, unlike the Apple Watch Series 9 (41mm/45mm) and Galaxy Watch 6 (40mm/44mm), which offer both small and large options, but it does come with bands in both sizes.

The design of the Pixel Watch 2 closely resembles that of the original Pixel Watch. It is equipped with a Qualcomm SW5100 system-on-a-chip (SoC), 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of flash storage.

The current battery provides up to 24 hours of usage with the always-on display activated. In terms of connectivity, the watch features 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS.

The LTE-enabled model includes an LTE modem for independent data service without relying on a smartphone.
