In a dramatic turn of events, Qatar Airways on Wednesday issued a clarification, discarding rumours regarding the suspension of its flights to and from Pakistan.

The clarification follows many news outlets churning out reports, in the wee hours of the day, suggesting that the international airline had closed its offices in a bid to cut operational costs.

Refuting all the hoaxes circulating on the internet, Qatar Airways stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter): "Qatar Airways flights to and from Pakistan are operating as usual, and our offices remain open."

“Recent[ly] published reports claiming that Qatar Airways has closed offices in Pakistan are incorrect,” the tweet added.

As it stands, reports rippling across the country about the closure of the airline’s offices were rendered incorrect.

Qatar Airways' flights to continue as per schedule

For those individuals who booked tickets and were worrying about their flights scheduled for Qatar, it's a relief that Qatar Airways' flights will continue according to the schedule.
