Samsung Galaxy A12 is a budget friendly phone that offers light specs for the price. The device has glass front and plastic back and frame. It weighs a normal 205g. The phone can output 720 x 1600 pixels of resolution spread over a 6.5 inches LCD display.
The OS running on the phone is Android 10 (One UI 4.1), which is upgradable to Android 12. The chipset that is offered with Galaxy A12 Nacho is Mediatek Helio P35 which has an octa-core processor capable of a clock count of 2.35GHz. Paired with this chip is PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The RAM and storage start from 2GB, 32GB and go all the way up to 6GB, 128GB. The internal storage can be upgraded via a micro SD card.
There is a quad-camera setup at the back, having a 48MP main lens, a 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Supporting these lenses are LED flash and HDR capabilities. Videos can be captured at 1080p, 30fps. The selfie camera can capture 8MP photos and 1080p, 30fps videos.
The battery capacity caps at 5,000 mAh, which can be charged by a 15W USB Type-C charger. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, and a virtual proximity sensor.
The colours offered with Samsung Galaxy A12 are black, white, blue, and red.
