Released on July 13, 2021, the Samsung Galaxy F22 comes in plastic frame and back and a glass front, weighing 203g. This dual-SIM phone comes with an HDR AMOLED screen that can display 720 x 1600 pixels on a 6.4 inches screen. The refresh rate goes up to 90Hz and the brightness peaks at 600 nits.
The phone runs on Android 11 (One UI 5.1), which in turn runs on Mediatek Helio G80 processor, which is an octa-core CPU and has a max frequency of 2.0GHz. Paired with this chip is Mali-G52 GPU. The expandable internal storage and RAM vary between 64GB, 4GB and 128GB, 6GB, respectively.
At the back, there is a quad lens camera setup featuring a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. These are coupled with LED flash and HDR capabilities. Videos can be captured at 1080p, 30fps. The front camera sports a 13MP lens which can capture videos at 1080p and 30fps.
The battery is a non-removable Li-Po 6,000 mAh power source, chargeable via a 15W USB Type-C cable. Additional features include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, compass, and virtual proximity sensor.
The phone comes in Denim Black and Denim Blue colours.
