Samsung Galaxy F62 sports largely the same specs as Galaxy M62 with a slight variation in RAM and storage capacity. It comes in a plastic back and frame and glass front. The phone sports a super AMOLED display that can produce 1080 x 2400 pixels of resolution on a 6.7 inches screen. Brightness peaks at 420nits. The device weighs 218g.
The OS running on the device is Android 11 (One UI 5), which is upgradeable to Android 13. Samsung deviates from its usual chipset for this phone, installing Exynos 9825, an octa-core processor which is capable of clocking 2.73GHz. The processor is paired with Mali-G76 GPU. The RAM and storage options are 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage. The internal storage can be upgraded via a micro SD card.
The camera department on the Galaxy F62 comes with a quad camera setup at the back. The main lens is a 64MP shooter (PDAF), which is supported by a 12MP ultrawide lens, 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth lens. LED flash and HDR support is also available. Videos from the back camera can be captured at 4K, 30fps and 1080p, 30fps. The front camera on the other hand only has a 32MP lens, with HDR capabilities and 4K, 30fps and 1080p, 30fps video recording.
The phone is powered by a giant 7,000mAh battery, which is chargeable by a rapid fast 25W USB Type-C charger. The phone also supports reverse charging at 4.5W. Additional features include fingerprint scanner (side-mounted), gyro sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a compass.
The phone comes in Laser Green, Laser Gray, and Laser Blue colours.
