Samsun Galaxy M12 is a mid-tier phone, released in April of 2021. The phone is made of a plastic back and frame and a glass front. The phone weighs around 212g. It comes with a PLS LCD display, which offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1600 resolution on a 6.5 inches screen.
The device runs Android 11, One UI 3.1, and is powered by Exynos 850 chip — an octa-core processor claiming a clock count of 2GHz. This CPU is paired with Mali-G52 GPU for graphics processing aid. The processor is supported by a range of RAM and storage options, the highest of which is 4GB RAM and 12GB expandable internal storage.
The quad camera suite has a 48MP main shooter (PDAF enabled), a 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Videos can only be shot at 1080p, 30fps. LED flash and HDR features are also included. The front camera sports an 8MP lens, with HDR and 1080p, 30fps video capturing.
The phone has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh that can be topped up by a 15W USB Type-C charger. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, a virtual proximity sensor, and a standard audio jack.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 comes in three simple colours: black, blue, and green.
