As winter recedes, you might assume gamers are ready to leave their screens for some spring sunshine. Yet, let's not forget those rainy days that call for a good gaming session. That's precisely why Steam's annual spring sale, running until March 21st, is so timely.

It offers a fantastic opportunity to snag games at up to 90% off. Notable deals include critically acclaimed titles like "Baldur’s Gate 3" for $53.99, a $6 discount, and "Diablo IV" at half-price across all editions — yes, even the Ultimate Edition is down to $49.99.

This sale isn't just for the latest blockbusters. Classics and overlooked gems are there for the taking, with "Cyberpunk 2077" available at 50% off, now just $29.99, and "Far Cry 6" slashed to $14.99, saving you $45.

The sale also includes a plethora of indie favourites and cult classics, some as low as $1, like the ever-popular "Left 4 Dead 2." Unfortunately, there aren't any deals on Steam Deck or VR headsets this time, but the sale is still worth exploring for those looking to expand their gaming library.

A sneak peek into some of the top picks:

  • "Baldur’s Gate 3" ($54, originally $60): A sprawling RPG experience from Larian Studios that's similar to a digital Dungeons & Dragons adventure, perfect for solo play or co-op with friends. The game's turn-based combat and dynamic storyline that morphs with your choices made it a 2023 game-of-the-year contender.
  • "Diablo IV" ($35, down from $70): The latest in the renowned Diablo series by Activision Blizzard, "Diablo IV" offers a live service approach with an expansive main story, numerous side quests, and continuous seasonal updates.
  • "Cyberpunk 2077" ($30, down from $60): CD Projekt Red’s ambitious and much-talked-about release. Despite its rocky start, ongoing updates, including the major patch 1.5, have significantly improved performance and gameplay, especially on newer consoles.
