Tecno Camon 19 is the standard version released alongside the Pro and Pro 5G versions, released globally on July 13, 2022.
It sports a glass front panel and a plastic overall frame, weighing 204g. The device has a fairly large display of 6.8 inches made of IPS LCD technology, with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.
Under the hood, an octa-core Mediatek Helio G85 chipset clocks at 2GHz alongside Mali-G52 GPU. Running on this setup is a custom version of Android 12, the HiOS 8.6. It also has expandable 128GB internal storage and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
At the back is the triple camera setup: an OIS-enabled 64MP HDR shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens, with quad-LED flash and panorama mode. 1080p HDR videos can be captured at 30fps. The selfie camera is a humble 16MP HDR-enabled lens, and the video quality is the same as the main camera — minus the HDR technology.
The device comes with 5,000 mAh Li-Po battery with an 18W USB Type-C charging port. Other features include a 3.5mm jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, and a proximity sensor.
The phone comes in Eco Black, Sea Salt White, and Digital Green colours.
