Tecno Spark 8C is another one of Tecno’s budget-tier phones. As usual, it has a plastic overall frame with a glass front panel. The display size is 6.6 inches, which produces 720 x 1612 pixels of resolution on its IPS LCD screen. The refresh rate goes up to 90Hz.

The software operates on HiOS 7.6, which is based on the Go edition of Android 11. The chipset deviates from Tecno’s usual Mediatek to Unisoc T606, which is an octa-core processor, claiming a clock count of 1.6GHz. This chip comes with Mali-G57 GPU. 64GB internal storage — expandable by a micro SD card —can be paired with 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM.

The battery is a market standard Li-Po 5,000 mAh non-removable power source, which can be charged via a micro USB cable. Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, and a proximity sensor, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Spark 8C comes in a variety of colours: Turquoise, Magnet Black, Iris Purple, and Diamond Gray.
