In the midst of a highly competitive smartphone market, the Trump Organization is set to enter the smartphone market with the launch of a new device and mobile service called Trump Mobile.

The Trump Organisation's mobile is said to be priced at $499 and scheduled for release in September this year.

This initiative includes a subscription plan costing $47.45 per month, which offers a range of services including roadside assistance, telemedicine, and international texting.

Following the announcement, a Trump Mobile website went live and allowed a closer look at details about the smartphone and service.

The company confirmed that call centres for Trump Mobile service will be based in the United States, and the devices will also be manufactured locally.

The launch of the Trump Mobile marks a significant shift for the Trump family business, which has traditionally set foot on real estate and hospitality ventures.

The mobile device and service were introduced by Donald Trump Jr at Trump Tower in New York, who underlined the Trump's family's ambitions to widen its business footprint to digital products under the Trump brand.

DTTM Operations, the firm managing US President Donald Trump’s trademarks, has filed applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office to use the Trump name and the term “T1” for telecom services, covering phones, accessories, and wireless offerings.
